General George S. Patton was indeed a true military genius but still loved his family so passionately. He and Beatrice had three children Beatrice, Ruth Ellen, and George IV. He still found time to write home letters even if he was working late with lots of love and advice riddled into it.
The eldest was named Beatrice and like her mother was elegant while Ruth Ellen was as spirited as her father. George IV like his father went into the army.
There can be no doubt that in this regard Paton was very warm to his family. He rejected the best job in London to maintain proximity to his daughters. All of Patton's children led great lives. Beatrice participated in charitable activities and horseback riding. Ruth Ellen became a writer. George IV followed military practice and became a general.
Through all Patton proved that the keys to his legacy are family ties and values like courage and honesty.
